Origami Dream
March 9th, 2006
With the product like these, no way Microsoft can ever compete with Apple. Google and IPod already sold all limelight from Microsoft in recent years, and after a long time I saw some excitement for any Microsoft product.

But hell, Microsoft turned the dream into nightmare, neither a PDA nor a laptop replacement. 3 hours batter life with cost around $1000, that’s sucks!
And I definitely agree with Mac (Hetts.com), it needs to be sexy. Many people use IPod or other Apple product because they are more like a style statement (and they work too!)
Innovative, affordable and definitely sexy is the new ‘Mantra’

I agree with you - I just posted the same thing on my blog here: http://stuart.amanzi.co.nz/2006/03/09/origami-project-revealed-as-umpc/
It’s too big for a pda, too small to replace a laptop, and doesn’t have enough battery life to get you through a morning let alone a whole day. (and it’s ugly!!)
